WOMEN'S BOOK CLUBS

Reading can rev up your life! Women who discuss quality Christian books – fiction and nonfiction – experience enrichment on several levels. Through Women's Book Clubs, they connect with others in friendship, strengthen their faith, inspire their imagination and discover great discussion openers to talk with others about Christ.

There are many book clubs for women at LSCC. Each one has about six members who agree to meet each month for a year. They choose a club name, simple matching tokens (like a bracelet or bookmark), president and secretary. Members take turns selecting titles for their club to read and discuss.

Each book club meets at a time and place of their choosing – a home, restaurant or coffee shop – to discuss a previously selected book for that month. Club members also share prayer requests, support one another and celebrate birthdays. Some clubs organize day trips, holiday parties and other fun events but this is not required. Get the complete guidelines here. Get a detailed reading list here.
