Doug Balsman has been a part of LSCC since 2011 and is passionate about families and particularly our youth. He and his wife are active volunteers who serve tirelessly in LSCC Kids and LSCC Students. They started up and lead the 5th and 6th grade service group and consider themselves “campaholics” as they faithfully serve our middle and high school students at student camp each year. Doug is employed with Insulet where he helps type 1 diabetics get insulin pumps to manage their disease. Doug and his wife, Kristin, reside in Lee’s Summit with their two kids, Andrew (15) and Maddie (12).
Dan Bishop has been a part of LSCC since 2013 and is very active in ministry. He serves as National Director of Training for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Over the past nine years on staff there, he has served in various roles in the field ministry including multi-area director, state director, and Mid-Atlantic regional director. In those years, he also served as a Chaplain at George Mason University and at the University of Cincinnati. Before joining FCA, he served in pastoral roles for 27 years, including 10 years as senior pastor. Dan has a Master’s Degree in Ministry Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies. Dan and his wife Nancy reside in Lee’s Summit and have three grown children and four grand children.
Mike McIlroy has been a part of LSCC since 1996 and lives a life centered on serving others. He is active in several ministries including ASPIRE, Crown Financial and Kairos Prison Ministry. He serves at LSCC as a small group leader, marriage mentor and on the financial team. Mike has served as the Vice President of Lockton Companies for the past 18 years. Mike and his wife, Julie, reside in Lee’s Summit. They have two grown children, Tyler and Melanie.
