Quarterly Community Group.  Are you a foster/adoptive/respite family? Do you have a heart for children in need? Join us for dinner and fellowship at our next quarterly commu- nity group meeting. is group allows us to encourage and equip one another as we strive to defend the weak and the fatherless (Psalm 82:3). Rachel House exists to end abortion in Kansas City. We're here to fight for the physical lives of the unborn babies and eternal lives of their moms and we do that by providing free pregnancy testing, life affirming ultrasounds, adoption resources, counseling and sharing the gospel. Opportunities exist for client advocates, couriers, nursing volunteers/RDMS, cleaning crews, Rachel House Ambassadors, event load in/load out, web design and editor (Word Press), building maintenance. Long and short-term opportunities. 


If Not For Grace

If Not For Grace Ministries provides a safe, confidential place for women and men to process through the paid and grief from past abortions. More info:

Community Awareness. Statistics say that 1 out of 3 women have had an abortion. Help us share our vision with your family, friends and coworkers! Friend us on Facebook and invite INFG to share a testimony of transformation or have a booth at any event you're planning in the community. 

Her Choice To Heal Co-facilitators. Help facilitate a 9-week session of Her Choice to Heal classes to provide healing an freedom to the abortion-wounded. Training provided, including being a mentee during a class prior to co-facilitating a class. 


Lullaby of Hope

Lullaby of Hope is a ministry for women journeying through infertility, pregnancy or infant loss. It exists to bring comfort in a time of grief and hope in a time of uncertainty. 


Hillcrest Transitional Housing

Through our partnership with Hillcrest Transitional Housing, LSCC has helped more than ten families move from home- lessness to self-su ciency. Home groups can help support a family as they complete the 90-day program. Individuals, families and home groups can be a part of short-term serve opportunities such as helping at the thrift store, helping stock the food pantry, teaching life skills classes, or serving as a budget counselors and helping with childcare while parents attend classes. Because of LSCC small groups and individuals serving in the Hillcrest ministry, we have been able to help more than eleven families change their lives. 


Pro Deo Youth Center

Pro Deo Youth Center is a relational organi- zation geared toward teenagers in grades 7th-12th. At its core, Pro Deo is a people group, a family, a home away from home. We provide a er-school and week-end program- ming to help teens grow into productive adults, all the while, enjoying their teen years in a safe and fun environment. We give teens opportunities to set goals while providing the support and accountability they need to be successful. We are building a legacy of excellence in loving teens and empowering them to dream & achieve. 


Lee's Summit Pointe Rehabilitation / LSCC Nursing Home

Jesus tells us in Mark 10:45 that even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve. The Nursing Home Ministry is a place you can put this verse into practice. LSCC provides church services to the residents to the residents of Lee's Summit Pointe each Sunday at 11am. Service begins with a time of worship through music, then a message of encouragement in the Word is shared, and then afterwards a time to visit with the residents and pray with them. 


Downtown Lee's Summit Main Street

Tour Date: March 10, 1pm, Downtown Lee's Summit outside of Bike America after the Emerald Isle Parade. 


Big Bash. Downtown Lee's Summit Main Street is a nonprofit dedicated to the promotion and revitalization of Downtown Lee's Summit. We plan events and program that show off what our downtown has to offer and bring families to our district. On March 28, we are hosting a large national event called the Big Bash. We will have 600-800 downtown revitalization professionals shopping, dining and exploring our downtown.

Houston Mission Trip

As Houston continues to rebuild after the massive destruction of Hurricane Harvey we desire to partner with organizations such as Rebuild Houston.  Through the relationship the James Coe our Worship Pastor has from living in Houston before come to serve here we are going to plan a Rebuilding trip to Houston this Summer.  If you are interested in hearing more about this please join us on March 4.
