This is not your usual marriage conference, but a two-session retreat that gives each couple the tools to enrich their marriage + the time away to enjoy one another (and actually talk through the content!). We’ll spend time together learning and laughing as we encourage one another in Christ to thrive in every season of marriage with your spouse.

It's amazing when we see eye to eye. When we are in agreement; on the same page. It just feels right between us. You get me and I get you. GO TEAM!

But what happens when we see things differently? Does the difference feel like a threat, or do we see it as an opportunity to grow and to know each other better? The depth of our connection depends on our willingness and ability to create understanding when we see things differently.

At this retreat will explore the things that get in the way of creating understanding, as well as help couples develop a shared approach to communicating around our differences. 

Location

We are so excited to host y’all in downtown Springfield, MO! With a short drive, lots of great restaurants and coffee shops, and a quiet environment, we hope this weekend will be a refreshing time for you and your spouse!

HOTEL COST:
Hotel cost is separate from retreat cost and is handled by contacting the hotel directly to reserve your room.

RETREAT COST:

  • Through January 16 - $55 per couple (retreat only)

  • After January 16 - $65 per couple (retreat only)

Retreat Weekend Details

SATURDAY SCHEDULE

9:30-10am: Check-in

10am-noon: Session 1

Noon-2pm: Lunch Break

2pm-4pm: Session 2

7pm-9pm: Optional GAME NIGHT in the conference room!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. It’s for couples who are already married.

  • Although recommended as it makes it easier for you to attend the retreat activities, it is not required to stay at the University Plaza Hotel.

  • Yes of course! However, the room rate is only guaranteed for the retreat dates (night of Feb. 16 and Feb 17).

  • No. You will pay for your meals on your own. The hotel does offer free breakfast in the morning.

  • No. The Recharge Marriage Retreat is open to any married couple.
